    My work started from my dad's absence. With early descendant of my dad, my emotions became extremely unstable, and made me look through family photos for my longing for the past. The happy times of my family contrasted my dark times from dad's struggle against the disease, and made me feel awkward but also familiar

The work started as I transferred the pictures to painting, which I am the most familiar with. Recently I am focusing on little parts of the image, rather than looking at whole images. The unstable feeling made me hesitate to look right in front, making my eyesight a bit lower. So in my work there are a lot of human hands and scenes around it.
