Darina Rasul

My name is Darina, I’m a decorator. I started painting from childhood and  in another profession I did not represent myself. Now I’m 31 years old. I`ve got two art educations. I graduated from the Institute of Decorative Arts in St. Petersburg. My works are done in fairy-tale, dreamy and symbolic styles. For example, I often draw pumpkins,  flowers and cartoon characters. Pumpkin, for example, is a symbol of maturity and well-being.
My child is very helpful in finding topics for creativity, and  any communication with other people inspires me.
I am interested in a variety of images in one work. In my drawings birds are in a company with predators, flowers are woven into any characters. My colors are diverse and I'm not afraid of color. My favorite artists help and develop my imagination, for example, Alfons Mukha, Mikhail Vrubel, Vasily Surikov , Leon Bakst, K. Somov and others.
As an artist, I develop different directions; paintings using variety sorts of paints, prints on fabrics, drawings in pencil, decor in the interior, and I really like it all!
